Celestial Brass 157x48mm by 10mm thick

Celestial Brass! This is another Gem Alloy like Gem Bronze with a slight twist. 

Both Celestial Brass and Gem Bronze have the same special ingredient that cause the growth of a macroscopic grain structure. The main difference is the primary alloying element. Zinc in the case of Celestial Brass. This change has a primarily aesthetic effect changing the color of the metal from a pale tan to a golden yellow color. 

Like Gem Bronze the crystal structure of this alloy can be revealed via an etching process I have detailed on my instagram page and the blog section of the website. 

The performance of the alloys for stock removal should be more or less comparable, like gem bronze the best looking grains are always found on the bottom face of the ingot.
