Silicon Bronze is a corrosion-resistant alloy with higher hardness and tensile strength compared to pure copper. This alloy is strong enough to be used in the aerospace industry for many things, such as the bearings in airplane landing gear! Silicon improves machinability, giving this alloy much better performance while sanded or machined. 

This alloy consists of 2.5% silicon, 0.5% manganese, 0.1% cerium, and 96.9% copper by weight
